As part of ongoing efforts to oppose and resist the rise of far-right, anti-immigrant, fascist ideologies and movements, local anti-fascist organizers and activists are organizing Food Against Fascism.

We will gather together regularly to make a hot, healthy, tasty meal, and serve it in public spaces. We'll also have informational materials related to anti-fascist and social justice struggles, including the new zine: "Fascism? What’s up with that? All you need to know to fight back against the rise of the far right."

Our next serving will take place this SATURDAY, AUGUST 26 at 2pm, outdoors in Bethune Square, on de Maisonneuve West, between Mackay and Guy. This time we're preparing and Indian Food menu in collaboration with GARAM MASALA (Groupe d'action révolutionnaire sud-asiatique de Montréal / Montreal Alliance of South Asian Leftists and Allies). We're going to have BBQ kebab (kosher/halal) as well as vegetarian plates including Rajma, Chana Masala, Raita, Rice Pulao, and Payasam.

This event is organized by local anti-fascist and anti-racist organizers and activists.
