Media across Canada have recently exposed the name and activities of a notorious Nazi organizer, from Montreal, who lives in Rosemont. This individual uses the pseudonym Zeiger, and is a major contributor to the unapologetically anti-Semitic, racist, misogynist website Daily Stormer.

"Zeiger", who has hidden his hatred behind a false name, is actually Gabriel Sohier-Chaput who lives at 6308, rue Fabre. You can find more detailed info about Zeiger/Gabriel Sohier-Chaput at the following links:

As residents of Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie, with supporters from all over Montreal, we denounce the presence of this Nazi and other racists in our neighborhood, or anywhere. This hateful racist and misogynist deserves to be exposed, as a means for our community to protest itself. The Montreal police, on the contrary, have removed posters revealing the identity of this individual who promotes violence against Jews, Muslims and other minorities.

Community safety and protection is something we build together, with solidarity and with a commitment to fighting racism in all its forms. Part of building solidarity together is to mobilize and organize on the principle: No neighborhoods for Nazis; no Nazis in our neighborhoods!

Last Saturday, anti-racists marched in Parc Extension to denounce the presence of a Nazi in their neighborhood. This coming Saturday, let's join together for a demonstration to denounce fascism and racism in Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie. And on the Saturday afterwards, let's mobilize to the border at Roxham Road to prevent far-right racists (involved with groups like the Storm Alliance and La Meute) from intimidating migrants (info: www.solidarityacrossborders.org/en/may-19-open-the-borders-refugees-welcome-stop-the-racist-far-right).

This is a festive, family-friendly and determined demonstration in opposition to racism and fascism. Bring noise-makers, and signs denouncing racism and hate.
