Not another Black life!
On July 2nd, we are coming together to denounce the police killing of Pierre Coriolan, and of Black community members more broadly, and to say that police should have no role in responding to mental health crises. Besides Coriolan, Alain Magloire, Abdirahman Abdi and Andrew Loku are only a few of the black men who have been killed by police who were responding to a mental health crisis. We will be joined by Black Lives Matter Toronto to unveil city, province and nation-wide demands to address anti-Black racism in our society.
We gather, too, to denounce the larger anti-black racism found in Montreal.
WHERE: Avenue Robillard (corner St-André)
WHEN: Sunday, July 2nd, 12-3pm
Organized by Hoodstock, Black Lives Matter – Montreal and Montreal Noir.
